All SAD lightboxes are manufactured to the highest standard. Declaration of Conformity
Our lightboxes conform to the current electromagnetic compatiblity standard for medical devices. Should you wish to see a copy of the report please email firstname.lastname@example.org where it is available
How quickly is my order despatched?
We endeavour to despatch all lightbox orders within two working days of receipt of the order and vat form. The only exception to this is over the Christmas period when the factory is on shut down. If you would like to confirm a delivery date then please phone 0845 095 6477. If there is a delay in supplying the item you have ordered we will phone you and advise of the possible delivery date.
How much is delivery?
Your lightbox does have to be signed for so someone has to be in to take delivery. If you supply your mobile number or email address Interlink will advise you of the approximate time of delivery on the day of delivery.
Free delivery on our SAD lightboxes to an address on the UK mainland.
Delivery is Monday to Friday.

If you suffer from S.A.D. you can choose the VAT Exempt option in the drop down menu on the product page and VAT will not be added to your order. Please note VAT exemption is only available on the SAD Lightboxes and Spare Lamps for Lightboxes.
By choosing this option you are declaring that you are suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder and that you are receiving from the S.A.D. Lightbox Company, Unit 2 Aston Hill, Lewknor Oxon OX49 5SG, the following goods which are being supplied to you for domestic or your personal use, Phototherapy Equipment and you claim relief from the Value Added Tax under Group 12 of Schedule 8 to the Value Added Tax Act 1994.
How do you deliver?
Delivery of S.A.D. lightboxes and large tubes to the UK mainland is made by next working day courier. Your consignment does have to be signed for so someone has to be in to take delivery.
Delivery of bulbs and small tubes is by Royal Mail or My Hermes.
No deliveries can be made to P.O. Box numbers.
When will my goods be delivered?
Delivery by courier is next working day (some areas are a 2-day service) after the goods leave us, any time between 08:30 and 18:00. If you want a specific delivery date this can be arranged with the office on 0845 095 6477 or 01844 353 136. Goods by Royal Mail are usually 3-5 working days, but can take up to 10 working days.
What happens if I’m not at home?
If you are not at home the courier will leave a card with the consignment number and the local depot number for you to call to arrange a redelivery. They will automatically try to redeliver the next working day. It will then be returned to the depot to be held for up to 3 days for further instructions. After this time it will be returned to us and an additional charge will be made for redelivery. Royal Mail will normally leave a card and the goods are generally held at the local depot for collection.
What if I want to change the delivery address after the goods have been sent out?
Once the goods have been sent out from the factory by courier the delivery address can be changed but this will incur a charge of £20.00. Goods sent out by Royal Mail cannot have a delivery address changed.
I’m never at home can it be sent to a different address?
We can deliver to another address. This can be work, a neighbour or the consignment can be ‘left safe’ in a greenhouse, shed or garage. This would be at your own risk. These instructions can be added to the consignment before it is sent out to help a speedy delivery. If the delivery has already been sent out it may incur extra costs.
Do you deliver overseas?
Yes that is not a problem. The charges for Europe are on the website but if the country that you wish to have the consignment sent to is not on the website then either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on +44 (0) 1844 353 136. BFPO numbers go through the normal postal service.
Prices are correct at time of publishing, and include VAT where applicable.
The total price payable will be stipulated at the time of ordering. We will be entitled to make adjustments to the price if there is a change in vat or duties are payable or if we make an error or omission in the price quoted. If there is a change to the prices quoted from when you placed your order we will inform you and give you the opportunity to cancel
All rights, including copyright, for this website are owned by The LitePod Company Ltd. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of The LitePod Company Ltd.
All Lightboxes are guaranteed for 3 years on parts and labour, (lamps/tubes/bulbs/DawnLite 1 year). This does not affect your statutory rights.
SAD Lightbox Trial Period
All Lightboxes also have a 30 day money back guarantee, (excluding Sale items) as the only way that you will know if a lightbox works is to try it. Normally you will feel the benefit within 10–14 days. During the trial period of 30 days the lightbox can be returned to us and we will refund the full cost of the lightbox but not the delivery cost.
All other items are guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase.
Distance Selling Regulations
What are my rights under the Distance Selling Regulations?
If you are contracting with us as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time within 7 working days of receipt of the goods you ordered. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods, in accordance with our refunds policy. To cancel a contract, you must inform us in writing and return the product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received it in its original packaging, and at your own cost and risk.
What is your returns policy on lightboxes?
Within the 30 day trial period, (excluding Sale items) pack the lightbox up in the original cartons and send it back to us. Do remember to include your name and address in the carton. The easiest means is by the Post Office or online through a company like My Hermes, we recommend that you take out the compensation insurance which ensures that if the worst happens and it is damaged in transit back to us you are covered.
What is your returns policy on other items?
Goods may be returned within 7 working days in their original packaging at the customer’s expense in accordance with the Customer Protection Distance Selling Regulation 2000.
How is my refund made?
Refunds will only be made if the item returned to us is in an ‘as new’ condition, returned in the original packaging and with all the manuals. As soon as the items are received by us they will be checked and the refund will be made by the same method that you paid for the goods. If it has been purchased by a card payment it can only be returned to the card that was used for payment and not to another card.
Goods not returned in an ‘as new’ condition may be subject to a small restocking charge. We reserve the right to refuse any refunds that do not comply with the above conditions. Refunds are normally made within 14 days.
How can I recycle my old electrical items in the UK?
On 1st July 2007, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations were implemented in the UK in order to reduce the quantity of electronic waste being sent to landfill and thereby protecting our environment. Full Spectrum Lighting has joined the Distributor Take-Back Scheme (DTS) - which will allow you to deposit your old electrical and electronic items at UK recycling sites, free of charge.
To find your nearest recycling site for waste electrical and electronic items, visit www.recycle-more.co.uk and simply type your postcode into the recycling bank locator. You'll find advice and tips on other aspects of recycling too.
How will I know if the products I buy can be recycled?
All electrical and electronic products and/or packaging now carry a "crossed out wheelie bin" logo to help you identify products that are recyclable. All our Lightboxes manufactured from 1st July 2007 carry this mark.
1. If there is a problem we can deal with it more quickly.
2. As the Lightboxes are a medical product we legally have to keep a record of all sales in the unlikely event of a product recall. We may keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us.
What we don’t do
1. We do not record phone calls (unless you leave a message on the answer phone, which is deleted once we have taken the details.)
2. We do not pass on your details to any other person/company for goods or services.
The LitePod Company Ltd complies with the the Data Protection Act. We never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes.
We (and our representatives) may hold your personal details in order to process your order and/or maintain your account.
The LitePod Company may also use your details to send you further information on new products to keep you up-to-date and on promotional offers you may be interested in.

Paypal encrypt your credit card information to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the Internet. This website, and any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
